Since then, ‘K-Tech Suspension Ltd’ has enjoyed rapid expansion; scaling up production to support global exports, supporting and winning multiple successful domestic championships and expanding into world championships.

K-Tech Suspension is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer. Could it be you?

Role Responsibilities:

  • Innovate mechanical design and 3D modelling of all areas of front and rear suspension.
  • Creation of 2D drawings for manufacture of machined, fabricated components/assemblies.
  • Build support (prototype and production)
  • Assembly tooling design
  • BOM creation and management
  • Liaising with internal and external suppliers to ensure design intent is realised.

Attributes:

The candidate should be of a personality that can empower other engineers in the Engineering Team and show good leadership skills.

  • Experience in motorcycle /motorsport or similar industry
  • SolidWorks experience/AutoCad.
  • Good Knowledge of DFM (design for manufacturing)
  • Ability to perform hand calculations would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of applicable, cost-effective manufacturing methods
  • Experience of designing tooling is beneficial.
  • Team player both in the design team and company as a whole
  • Have great engineering perception and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-motivated with good self-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The Senior Engineer, needs to bring experience about -:
  • Understanding of materials
  • Good understanding of engineering tolerances
  • Have good feeling for motion-mech and hydraulics
  • Have a big interest in motorcycles, motorsports.
  • Well organised and able to work in a team environment.
  • Work to and create good working processes.
  • Excel and word proficiency
  • Good understanding of CNC process
